Bio:This is a semi-friends only journal. Fannishness, politics, geekery are open. Real-life stuff is locked.

#1) If I have friended you recently and you friended back, please check out this post. I'm also not offended if you don't friend back. Everybody's got their own friending policy and I get that, no worries.

#2) Even at the busiest of times, this is a high volume journal with fannishness, random posts, politics and RL stuff. During the summer there will be even more posts because that's when I have too much free time and not enough of a real life. Also, it's where seeing the link above will help you out depending on what you want to see.

Here are the fandoms I'm involved with in some way in at the moment:

  • Stargate SG-1 (my permanent fannish home)
  • Heroes (current obsession #1)
  • due South (my love will never die)
  • Whoverse (the happy-making shows for me)

    Other fandoms/shows I'm interested in or have dabbled in (more or less) include House, Jossverse, Stargate Atlantis, BSG, Farscape and I love smaller shows like Little Mosque on the Prairie, BlackAdder, Keen Eddie... and tons others. I don't even pretend to remember the number of shows I've watched/squeed over because they are too numerous.

    Although, I must publicly recommend jPod - short-lived Canadian show about video game programmers in Vancouver. Cancer Cowboy is one of the greatest characters I've ever seen and I wish everybody has seen this unique and bizarre show (there's platonic ballroom dancing! lots of CGI gore! Lesbian hippies and grow-ops! and more!). Save jPod - help bring the show back.


    The fannish rundown:I used to make a ton of fanart, ranging from icons to wallpapers, but I've always been a writer. My other hobby as of 2007 has been vidding, and you can check out my vids by clicking on the vids tag where I've vidded over a dozen fandoms and characters already.

    I'm OTP free, so I roam from pairing to pairing in my fic reading, writing and vidding tastes.


    Few quick facts about me: I have an unhealthy obsession with Heroes, I live in Wisconsin, I spend an hour and a half (at least) every morning reading political blogs and news websites, I study international relations and I love fruit punch flavored soda and John Keats. I've met John Barrowman and he enjoys meeting "fellow cheeseheads" (I have video of the encounter. Ask me for it).
